Procedure for Setting Google 2-Step Authentication

1. After logging in to the website, the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) setup screen will be displayed.

2.On your smartphone, download the Google Authenticator application .

3.Start up the Google Authenticator application and  press the "+" icon in the bottom-right corner.

4.Two options will be displayed: "Scan QR Code" and "Enter Setup Key".

① To scan with your camera, select "Scan QR Code" and scan the QR code displayed on the login screen.


② If you do not wish to use the camera, select "Enter Setup Key". In the "Account Name" field, enter an easy-to-identify name such as "btcbox" or "BTCBOX". Then, copy and paste the Secret Key displayed on the login screen into the "Key" field, and press "Add".

※ We recommend saving the QR code or Secret Key displayed on the login screen. If you change your device or accidentally delete your authenticator app, you can use it to restore two-factor authentication.

※ Please keep your saved QR code and Secret Key secure. Do not share them with anyone.

5.Copy the 6-digit verification code displayed in Google Authenticator.

6.Return to the login screen, enter the verification code into the field, and press "Confirm".

7.If you see the message "Google Two-Factor Authentication is enabled," the setup is complete.
